Am liking the look of new online music player, Spool.fm. Whilst the AJAX interface is still a little rough around the edges, the drag-and-drop playlist builder and listen with a friend feature are pretty killer. It's especially welcome now Pandora has announced its intention to start blocking users from outside the US.

I don't know where they're sourcing their music from, but a quick search on "Underworld" (one of my standard see-what's-there terms) showed up a lot of badly tagged copies of tracks from the Trainspotting soundtrack, as opposed to actual albums, so I've got a feeling it's more than a little naughty. Also, it didn't work at all on Safari.
